This is a series of concerts initiated in 2007 at the opening of the Anatomy Museum with the proposal of a Jazz Concert entitled “The Origin of Jazz”.

Since then various themed concerts have filled the Anatomy Hall (100 places) of the Anatomical Institute building with the musical notes of Jazz. The driving force of this fortunate cycle of concerts is Gianluigi Panattoni, professor of human anatomy at the Turin University School of Medicine, who regularly holds his lessons in the same hall during the year.

He has a great passion for jazz and has directed for years the Jazz Group of the Piedmont University students’ Musical Association. On each occasion two concerts are proposed (one at 18.00, repeated at 21.00) and at the end of each concert one of the Museums is opened especially and exclusively for the participants.
